DescriptionFor many years this farm was owned and operated by Mrs. Mable Dodge Sloan who raced Brookmeade Stable. Many horses that made that stable the leading money winner of American racing in 1934 and 1950 were raised here including Sword Dancer, horse of the year in 1959. This 777 acre farm near Upperco, Virginia has an estimated 28 miles of fences. Seen in Bodine's Face of Virginia.
